...the app keeps crashing on an iPhone 6.

Seems like a lot of bugs or its not compatible with Iphone6? Keeps crashing

The Spritz speed reading integration puts this app over the top. I do all of my reading exclusively on the BookShout app now. I also enjoy receiving rewards for continuing to read.

This app repeatedly closes upon the search of any book. Im wanting to search for a teaching guide to the alchemist and it wont work at all. So far this app is garbage. Im holding out hope though.

How am I supposed to use it when it wont even work?

I got a free book and the only way to download it is through this app. I have a 5s and it wont show me a screen of page by page, a few pages are squeezed together. And when I want to zoom in, it wont let me do it. I struggled with the app for 5 min and I still couldnt the book on my phone comfortably.

Signed up for a free book using Facebook, but after installing the app, it wouldnt sign me in with FB. Uninstalled and reinstalled, same issue. At this point cant be bothered. Poor execution.

I got free books by Tmobile and it was great with Bookshout

Wish some of the books were longer and would tell you part is here had to try to find them on my own

So I had never heard of bookshout until today when I "won" a free ebook from them via T-Mobile Tuesdays. They had 10 books to choose from and I chose The Ocean At The End Of The Lane by Neil Gaiman. Awesome, right? Until I got to the site and see that the version they offered was an EXCERPT of the book. NOT THE FULL BOOK. NOWHERE WHEN THEY GAVE THE OPTION TO PICK A BOOK DID IT SAY EXCERPT. Lame. I will never use bookshout after this.

Archiving a book causes the app to close.

The app seems fine except for its horrible category filter options. If you wanted to search for say.... Sci-fi/Fantasy, good luck! Because all fantasy and literature options are lumped together with hundred and hundreds of books with no other way to filter down unless you happen to know the exact title of a book. Usually I look books I havent read yet so I wouldnt know the title of a book I hadnt read yet in most cases. The filter option is also rather basic and doesnt filter by many options. Lastly you can search for (Sci-fi/fantasy) but that will lump together with romantic erotic Sci fi and fiction of al kinds. The available fiction options still dont help. Anyways if they can fix this I might be able to use this app which would be nice.

I love this app I like that I can put a bookmark on the word I left off on and how if I dont understand a word I can press it and it will give me the definition.Ive tried other reading apps but this is my favorite

I downloaded this in order to take advantage of a offer through which I could get a free book. I found that whatever books I download are essentially locked within the app, so that I cant either save a copy of the book, or put the book on my other e-book reader. I dont much care for all the statistics and time-tracking either -- and there is no option that I can find to shut them off. I just want to be able to read at my own pace without being told (for example) that I havent met someone elses predefined daily goal.

I downloaded the app to take advantage of a TMobile Tuesday giveaway. The free book section has a similar formate to tinder in that you "swipe right or left" on the titles they show you. The free book section is totally uncategorized so you end up sifting through a fair amount of garbage. Eventually the app starts making suggestions for you under the my books tab. I have had a lot of success with the speed reading feature. I am also very pleased with having earned money for in app purchases after reading a certain amount of words. I only use this app on my phone and that platform is great.

Only got this app because of the T-mobile free book promo. Its an alright book but this app isnt. Sadly its impossible to read on an iPhone and you cant zoom in properly. Avoid this app if you can.

I downloaded this app after getting a great deal on a book thru Facebook. Never heard of this app before. Downloaded with no problem and signed in but every time I try to open my book to start reading the app force closes. I hope it will stop doing this.
